We need to stay grounded folks. Huge game coming up against the Netherlands on Tuesday.

I'll play Evans over Chatara not as much for Chatara's poor showing today but more so for Evans batting lower down, which might be needed in the games against NET and WI and also to rotate the bowlers so that we don't get into a situation where Evans suddenly has to play a must win game in Super 6s.

Evans for NET and WI games for me. Chatara can come back for the game against the USA.

While Ervine and Willo were brilliant and it is heartening to see Ervine's form, like SZ rightly pointed out the contributions of Welligton and Ngarava cannot be appreciated enough. They were absolutely brilliant on a dead track.

One more thing that pleases me is that despite not being at their best, esp with the ball and in the field, Zimbabwe have pulled this off against a pretty good side. Hopefully we won't be making as many mistakes in upcoming games.

Thanks to Gajanand Singh's heroics for USA in their loss to WI, we are very slightly ahead of WI in NRR at this stage :)

Dutch still have a very decent bowling attack even after missing all of their key players . Need to win the toss again .and keep winning till the end of the cup :D

Ya the Dutch have some quality players and will be a bigger test for us than Nepal probably, despite missing their big names they are still strong.

I'm going to the Zim-Windies match and can't wait

Anyone notice this on cricinfo?

"The next 50-over World Cup, in 2027, will be a 14-team affair, co-hosted by South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe. Though it is four years away, Ervine said even the senior-most members of his squad plan to be around."

Haha... It's quite simple, isn't it? 😂

Netherlands game is very important, if Zimbabwe get through that we are basically looking at carrying forward at least 2 points in the Super Sixes because surely one of Nepal or Netherlands will qualify.

Counting the USA out already?

Once Ali Khan comes back, US could topple NED or NEP.

I thought Nepal had a golden chance to beat a Test nation today…but as it turns out there were 50 runs short.

NRR equation is super tight. The difference between WI and ZIM is less than 1 in 100.

The US are definitely the weakest team in the group on paper. Would take a miracle for them to get to the super six
