Which home board comes up with such a stupid schedule which sees Zimbabwe complete their matches 4 days in advance. Ideally home boards schedule in such a way that home team plays the last game so that they know exactly what is needed in that last game.

I know I'm getting frustrated, yes I am, who wins 5/5 and then it's like yeah you might need to win 7/7... FO. 😡

Three teams on 8 will be very sad for the third team. I do like this format though. It gives lots of chances and keeps the interest in all the different permutations

I think they do mate, BCCI are pretty much deciding everything for the WC 2023 in consultation with the ICC. I think ZC do have a say which is why they got first round Zim games at Harare, Super 6 at Bulawayo and big weekend games involving Zimbabwe.

Over 150 cricket clubs, almost all with their own grounds and nets. Access to the English system, English leagues, universities, etc. And a very long cricketing heritage.

Same reason the Dutch are good too.

These two will always have the upper hand on the other associates.

Shocking to see the West Indies fail to qualify, hopefully this might be hitting rock bottom and lead to real change for the game there.

I remember someone once said that the West Indies isn't a real country so the sense of national pride isn't there. I think there is some truth to thay statement. That's why it's so easy for their players to walk away.
