Shakib Al-Hassan and Sanath Jayasuriya have more wickets in ODI than Shane Warne. Would you pick them as your spinner over Warne?jaybro wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2023 8:43 am“Chatara doesn’t have credits in the bank”
He has 195 international wickets ffs
And if you ain’t giving him credit because he hasn’t played the big teams as often, I guess BT, Williams, Ervine, Jarvis, Cremer & Raza don’t get the credits either cause they haven’t played England either?
Bore off, next
Yes, but that credit wore off early. Why is it so hard to accept that Chatara was our most expensive bowler all tournament and has been quite liable for some time even before this series. I'm pretty sure I even mentioned that I would not pick him as a starter well before the qualifiers.
Why am I not allowed to have my view and also my view have credibility? I've acknowledged a lot of the points you have brought up and accept that you make some decent points, but when I bring up points -even ones backed with facts and figures- you just seem to ignore it and tell me that I am wrong.
When did I say England was the only big side? I should rephrase, not that they didn't play against big teams, but rather that when they did come up against big sides, those players would stand up more regularly than most.
I gave my ideas in point form, but apparently calling for certain players to be dropped and a development plan put in place to develop better players, is not allowed.
