Some of the Joburg players have taped over their shirt sponsor. Seemingly the Asian guys. Whats the sponsor? Is it a booze company? Sausages?

Both betting/casino companies. Win buzz on the front and Bally breeze on the back. Looked it up out of curiosity. Good lads sticking on the straight pathsecretzimbo wrote: ↑Sun Jul 23, 2023 4:49 pmSome of the Joburg players have taped over their shirt sponsor. Seemingly the Asian guys. Whats the sponsor? All three Player of the Matches today were Zimbabwean. Chakabva/Marumani/Evans.

Evans is a real mystrey. Looks like he has all the attributes to be a really good bowling allrounder but he nearly always gets smashed and rarely scores any runs.secretzimbo wrote: ↑Sun Jul 23, 2023 8:10 pmAll three Player of the Matches today were Zimbabwean. Chakabva/Marumani/Evans.

Just seen Maru's innings. That shot he played over mid wicket for six off his legs is enough indication that he has the talent to succeed. The shot over extra cover from Nauyachi was equally impressive

Not just you. I made this exact point on the previous page. I think it also has to do with the fact that the outfield and crowd are dark, so it looks like a low budget shit show and that the whole field isn't actually in play.
Re: Zim Afro T10 | 20th-28th July 2023
Yes very correctly put major part of a hit show at HSC is the atmosphere created by the crowd while here you just can't see them on TV .definitely need more or probably better lights

Doesn't help when they play him one game ans drop him the next. Yes he has not grabbed his chances, but surely could be given a longer rope.zimfan1 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 23, 2023 8:17 pmEvans is a real mystrey. I'm sorry to bring this up again, but still can't get over the fact that Jongwe at 8 and Evans at 9 instead of Wellington and Tendai would have most likely given Zim that WC spot. Yeah, I'm crying over split milk but that still hurts. I also agree that in hindsight it is always easy to say but damn it still hurts.
