He's a spinner, has been near the top of the wicket-taking charts of the last several NPL's/NPL T20's. Played a few times for Tuskers but not had a consistent run of it.

Not sure of his age
26 as listed according to google.
Hope the lad gets some good amount of games for tuskers this season, carrying similar performances along the way.

Been pretty impressed with Tariro Makauyo. Great stats so far with the bat. A few people seem to be getting excited about him.

Didn't realise he was young as well, he has been part of the under 19 squad playing the renegades.

Maybe one to look out for in the future.

Going see if I can find any videos of him so I can assess his technique. Haven't watched all the games on YouTube but I'm sure he has been part of one of them.

Edit: Uprising played in the last match streamed on YouTube :D

This U19 bunch have looked really really good. Probably the best in many years passed or am I overhyping?

Ya this u19’s will surprise people, there’s some serious batting talent and they are getting some intensive prep from ZC.
There’s not a great deal in the bowling though, that might be where they struggle a bit at World Cup level.

Ahh my bad he was playing for the renegades team  that's a shame.

Still he looks alright actually, strong on the back foot but his footwork isn't the best, a decent pacer could trap him early on.

Are there any decent fast bowling prospects in the school system?

I’m not too sure tbh. This u19’s is going to be batting heavy I suspect. There’s some decent spinners.

Fast bowling; Mashford Shungu is a left armer, bowls quite quick. Dylan Nzvenga get some good movement off the seam.
John-Mark Benadie is very tall.

I don’t know a great deal about the other bowling options. Batting looks good though, quite a lot of competition for places to get into the u19 squad currently
