Welch with another solid 68 today, Bennett with 5 wickets , Mawadzi, Shumba and Innocent with really decent knocks and an all round performance from Schadendorf.

Naqvi 5fer aswell. Originally I thought he was only playing to get a prof sportsperson visa for England, but then why would he play club cricket here? Is there something more to it?

He did well last year. Rhinos have him back as an Overseas again for the coming season, probably paying him a decent amount based on performances last year.

Another young bat with plenty of promise, played a couple of logan cup games back in 2021 and is still early 20s.

His NPL season has been a bit up and down though.

Welch has started well. Makes me wonder how long Craig will play on for if it gets to a point that he genuinely cant make the T20 team. T20s are what we play the most now so if you can't make that team you might be done. I think within the next 12 months Welch, Wes, Maru and Bennet will be the ones fighting for top order spots in T20s. This is actually a good thing.

Musikewa is one of those players in the chigumbura mold who can hit a long ball.

Dont be suprised if he makes the 20/20 qualifiers

He's enormously talented and a tremendous athlete.
If he'd had proper coaching as a kid he'd be serious.
Hes still good though, I rate him big time.
If he'd been picked up as a kid and had one on one and then pushed through a proper academy he'd be in our national side by now.
