NPL 2023
Re: NPL 2023
Chris Mpofu bowled beautifully. Uprisings have a good batting line up, but were short of seamers, he made all the difference.
Re: NPL 2023
Unbelievable game between Gladiators and Takas.
I thought we were going to see a spectacular innings from Wes. It was still really good.
Gladiators should have won that, they bottled it.
A couple of sad umpiring decisions- more to come. This is something that needs to be sorted out. They need a review committee, it's embarrassing.

Wes hit a full toss straight to cover after treating us to some amazing shots. Story of his career to date, but he can really play, what a talent.

All class from Slug. Some big hits from young Kamwemba at the end too.
Taka Vs Uprising in the final tomorrow.

Isn't it great that guys like Kamwemba are part of this tourney. I doubt previous under 19s have been exposed like this. Shungu also has some first class experience now before his debut under 19 world cup early next year.secretzimbo wrote: ↑Fri Oct 13, 2023 7:27 pmAll class from Slug. If we can get other players involved in our domestic leagues and one day tourneys such as Ronak Patel Shane Bennett and Campbell macmillan it will be so good and fancy chances of progression next year.

Re: NPL 2023
We are in such a delicate spot though, as an organisation. We simply can't afford to lose the current crop of lads coming through, those who haven't played for the national side yet. Bennett, Kamwemba, Welch, Bawa and all those other names the men on the ground are raving about.
We fuck this up and we're done.

Macmillan and Patel, too. I just hope they're in the thoughts of the selectors for the franchise and NPL going forward
