The ICC rankings show our best bowlers as
#39 Ngarava
#55 Chatara
#77 Masakadza
=#78 Raza
=#83 Muzarabani
Might as well add the batsmen
=#59 Raza
#74 Madhevere
#87 Williams
#93 Ervine
#98 Burl
I know we all have our own opinions but if they use the stats then the team kind of picks itself despite our reservations. Madande obviously being the 10th man here as the keeper. Welch being the new gun on the block. Has to be our strongest team for now, especially with Evans injured. Jongwe for Chatara is probably the only other possible swap.

Not so long ago Jongwe was actually our highest rated T20 bowler. He has had a tough year or so

No don't rate Jongwe either but at least he can bat when Larry can't , the bowling stocks are poor. Evans injured is annoying. Blessing , Richie and Jongwe then the spinners is all that needed.secretzimbo wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2023 10:20 amIf I recall, you also don’t rate Jongwe. And you (presumably, if you have any sense) don’t rate Mumba.
So who exactly do you propose picking? Someone has to bowl.

Wes better than Williams
Can’t argue with stats.

When Evans gets back from injury this time around only some lop sided selections will keep Luke in the loop. He's had a free ride at Evans' expense a few times. Brad has had some chances which he hasn't capitalised on, but a few more opportunities and he will cement himself. His bowling has improved, he's got that nice slower ball now as well.
He has to ditch that rep as a dodgy fielder when in fact he's actually excellent and he has to make some runs. The ways he gives up his wicket for a guy of his ability are staggering, but I know he's close to getting it right.
Jongwe will have no choice but to reinvent himself. He's absolutely got the ability to, but does he have the drive?

Job done by Uganda they were ruthless.
Rwanda really surprised me, they have the weakest batting lineup so that was a massive score for them.
Great to see Collins Obuya get a 50, he has still got it!
