What about Chatara :x
That's an easy one , you just don't pick him for international duty if he doesn't retire

Sikki will stick around. I'm sure he will target 2027.

As long as that Rajput doesn't come into the picture in anyway I'm happy... And yeah that fellow Utseya too.

We are in for some really tough times but the truth is this had to happen. We have to look towards the future. There is a 24 month window to suffer and get our shit together.

Real frying pan. No more hiding for the younger players.
100% agree with you, yes there will be some tough times but this needs to happen to protect the future of the game. Big question is over Raza, I think he will stay but miss series for T20 gigs.

If you take Ervine, Williams and Raza out of the side then the two main guys are Richie and Burl. Could be the making of them. Blessing also will have to step up. I wonder if we would see a real random appointment as captain, Tony Munyonga perhaps?

Are any of the cartel back from the legends league in time for the Ireland series?

Guaranteed Chigumbura or Prosper or someone is interim head coach  Let’s hope it is just interim

The series against Ireland will accelerate the process. The squad will give a clear indication of the future direction.

Chigumbura is a dead cert. Or may get Rajput back for the series.

I disagree.

Truth is none of the youngsters are likely to be as good as, let alone better than, Ervine and Williams.

I can understand the need for a change in coach after two failed qualifiers but it is also relatively unlikely that anyone coming in will do any better than Dave.

I don't know about the captain. Maybe Raza in all formats. We don't play test cricket anyway.

The biggest winners here I think are Bennett and Naqvi. Im expecting Bennett to go straight into the team. They will work on Naqvi's papers.

Even the likes of Jonathan Campbell and Ben Curran. Step up or step out. Opportunities like this might only come once

You are correct, they are not as good but they are not going to develop unless they start batting at 3/4. Ervine is always injured and Williams is in and out. Welch has really missed his shot for now, no way will he be in the Ireland squad.

Apparently the Williams family are denying that Sean has retired
