I agree picking both Wellington and Mavuta today is extremely bizarre, and wrong. I rate them both and like them both but suddenly picking both, especially when one isn't even in the squad and we are a bat short - very strange.

I like how Madande is always looking to score. Is one of the few guys who can find the gaps and knock it around for 10 overs. Helps that he is very quick as well.
Well all international batters should be doing that surely?
What he lacks is the ability to change gear, as do most of our players.
The point is also that guys like Wes, Marumani and KLong struggle to hit the gaps for 5/6 overs.

Well 5 are out on the boundary when he comes in, there are big gaps.

Is it just the dodgy bet365 sound or is there no singing at all from castle corner today?

Gee I think he is an all round good player that can hit a big ball when needed.

Love the way that Madande gets on top of the pull shot. Shot much more control than Wes or Bennett. This is a decent wicket. 165 par I would say which we are not getting to.

Need to go after Campher, may get out but worth the risk. Burl is hitting to the short side in this over. Madande just needs to give him the strike.

There were a lot more cracks on the pre-match pitch review than yesterdays pitch. Think it will take quite a bit of spin later. (I still don't think we need both Welly and Mavuta though  )

The trick to batting is playing to your strengths, not everyone plays pull shots or cover drives the same way.
