What a freaking collapse

Openers walking out to the middle making the cut for the highlights package says it all.

We need 8 batsmen to survive this kind of bowling. To be honest it would have worked if Raza got going but that dismissal ruined the whole game plan. We need an extra bat if we going to play 3 tailenders.
The problem is Munyonga might not do much better than Akram but it’s worth a try. What they will probably do is drop Mufudza for Welly and maybe add Jongwe if Akram gets smacked around. Then finally probably Kaitano for K-Long. There will be no thinking outside the box.

You can’t play 8 bats in these conditions unless you have multiple bloody world class all rounders.
You need the 3rd seamer. And in subcontinent conditions you absolutely need a frontline proper spinner, as well as the all rounders. Despite the domestic averages Jongwe is undoubtedly a better bat than Faraz imo so you could make that change. And you could pick Wellington over Mufudza but to strengthen the batting but that would be harsh.
The top and middle order need to take responsibility for scoring runs, not the tailenders.

Where's that rain from the other night? We need it again badly
At least Ervine has shown he still can build an innings. I honestly thought he was done.
