Logan Cup 24-27 Jan | Rhinos Vs Mountaineers | Rocks Vs Eagles

Post by secretzimbo »

They’ve ditched the lake (in a dry week  ) and Rhinos are finally playing in Kwekwe.

These back to back to back to back games are really not well thought out. They need to have the first half at the beginning of the season and the second half at the end. Firstly to break up the monotony of it and secondly to take advantage of drier conditions.
They need to get in 10 games, so they should have a first plays second and a third plays fourth to wrap the season up.
These players have 3 days between games week in and week out. Sunday rest, Monday some good practice, Tuesday some fine tuning and then you go again for another 4 days? Just doesn't make sense.

Love the link to Mavuta on cricinfo, currently he's a complete unknown other than he's a Rhinos Women player, obviously he's been absent due to undergoing a sex change op

Lord Naqvi seems to have been replaced as captain by Kaitano, I guess winning by an innings and scoring 300* wasn't good enough

The mountaineers have a decent bowling lineup with 5 or 6 good options at this level. Will be interesting to see how Naqvi does

How come Marumani does so well in domestics and never at international level? It's a bit of a mystery unless we are saying that the standard of domestics is very low.
