Logan Cup - Tuskers v Mountaineers & Rhinos v Rocks (Match 17 & 18)
Re: Logan Cup - Tuskers v Mountaineers & Rhinos v Rocks (Match 17 & 18)
Tuskers again not pushing for the win, madness.

12 day T20 tournament starting on the 29th with 6 teams.
This sounds like each side will only play each other once with probably a qualifier and a final.
THIS IS NOT ENOUGH T20 CRICKET FFS!

That was another Lord Mishi oversight.
Back to back to back to back 4 day cricket smack in the middle of the rains, then a 12 day T20 season.
Oh and the umpiring!! We are long in career ending unprofessional and clueless umpires.

You know India hasn't won a single T20 world since the IPL started. Bangladesh has had the BPL for over 10 years and they still suck at the T20 format. Pakistan haven't gotten any better since the PSL. If you want to improve, you've got to play all 3 formats but focus on 50 over stuff.

Tuskers 460 runs ahead with 59 overs left and not declaring.
What an absolute disgrace

Should Tuskers management be worried about the restructuring exercise
I thought it was the captain that decided when to declare, not the manager

They need to give way more points for a win. Shouldn’t be rewarding draws so highly.

I know they are out of the running but surely winning a game is what it’s all about??
Regardless of the result the late declaration was ridiculous.
Re: Logan Cup - Tuskers v Mountaineers & Rhinos v Rocks (Match 17 & 18)
The point structure is ridiculous in the Logan Cup.
10 points for win
6 points for a draw
Max 10 batting points
Max 10 bowling points
8 points for an innings win
Best outcome is 30 points out of a game, but you could draw with 26 points you can even lose with 20 points!!
A win should be 20 points at least if they are going do it this way. Just seems ridiculous at the minute.
