They seemed keener to pick Zim bowlers than batters?
Curran has no right to be sitting on the fence, either play here or fek off. Plus he's ordinary.
Roach has to stop bribing.
Akram has to stop bribing.
Naqvi is not Zimbabwean .
Ballance must fek off. He's done.
Chari must fek off. He's no T20 player, let alone T10.
M Frost must fek off. He doesn't play here either.

And Chikabva must fek off as well. Doesn't play anymore either. WtF is going on

7 of the top 10 batters from the NPL T20 didn't get picked, and 9 of the top 10 wicket takers didn't get picked.

Good to know the teams really did their research.

Nick Welch was 3rd highest run scorer amongst the zim batters in the last T10 and he batted at 5 so didn't get to bat some games.
He was behind Marumani who opened and Raza at 3 (I think?)
He's surely one of the first picks?
Pretty sure they were told not to pick him.
If they think Taruvinga is a better player then I don't know

Some of these selections seem about right for a fixer’s league full of washed up retirees to be fair. Par for the course. Ballance has literally come from nowhere. Tobacco crop can’t have been the best.

Regis, Tiripano and Williams are good lads and welcome to a pay day.

Curran I understand his name carrying him for anyone who doesn't watch our domestic stuff. They clearly don't. Ballance is the most interesting one for me. Never in a million years did I imagine he would be involved in anything Zim cricket related again.

Faraz has the advantage of actual footage of him smashing some sixes against Bangladesh and India recently. People underestimate how valuable that can be.

I really hoped Schardendoff would be picked as an emerging player. I don't know what else to say. I know he will get plenty of opportunities at the Rocks this season. My advice for both Welch brothers is to leave the Eagles. All those rangers players that play for the eagles are wasting their time there. There are so many opportunities elsewhere with far less politics.

We still don't know what the plans are for the franchise coaches. Are they appointing overseas coaches as was suggested, are they reshuffling all the existing coaches around again?
Why would Eagles have more politics than any other franchise?

Picking M. Frost, Chari, Chakabva, Roach, Ballance, Naqvi, Tiripano and Curran in no way benefits Zim cricket.
Mayavo, Chirwa, and Taruvinga will get blown away at this level. It's actually outrageous.
