HSC is completely empty. It's cold and it's a Monday but this is a poor turnout.

Do these T10 leagues get crowds anywhere? From what I’ve seen nobody turns up to the editions in UAE, USA, Sri Lanka or Caymans either.

The ground would have thousands for Zimbabwe vs an associate even today. Crowds have been really good in recent years for the national team but truth is the majority are either there just to do their patriotic duty and the other half are just there to get drunk and sing. Not a lot of genuine cricket interest.

There’s nothing in this for the casual fan. I’m only watching it because it’s our tournament, certainly don’t watch any other t10 leagues. It’s in the main, a bunch of guys from the subcontinent that nobody’s heard of.

That t10 we had just before the 2022 World Cup when Marumani was bossing it was well attended. Can tap into that though when it’s guys you know.
