That was a serious celebration by Welch. Needs a decent first half a season to be back in contention.
He's further away than he should be, but sadly due to nothing other than his poor returns last year.

The niggle between Antum and Welch is exactly what our domestic competition needs. Bet they get on well off the field.

Antum is basically quite a fiery Australian. Would create niggle with anyone.

We need these players like Chivanga. Welch and Navqi playing in national side. That competitive streak and will to win.

Ya i think NW needs a few tons to get back onto the radar. In the words of a world famous selector- you have to be twice as good
I wonder if the irony of that comment gives him pause for reflection
Just finished watching that innings- very well played. Not too sure he should have swept and reversed though, he'd still be there.
I see he's changed his set up, no late tap and back lift, looks strange seeing him bat the "modern" way.

I see Zolsky bigging up Deon, saying he's leagues ahead of his contemporaries and is the future captain. Fairly sure he heard that from one of his bosses
There are a handful of players just as good.
A pic of his 60 off 40 when he bogged the innings, I knew they'd revisit that.

Same old story, put him 1-3 and see how he goes. It's a different sport up front. Not saying he hasn't got great potential, but he's far from being leagues ahead of his contemporaries
He was also quite a good captain, but haven't seen him in that role for a while.
Let's hope he's half as good as they say he is. He won't be far off, always been one of my favorite players.

Curran pulled off a sharp catch to dismiss Overlord.
He just looks a little upright to me. Even in the bowler's delivery stride he barely gets into a "readier" position. Just think he needs to get into a slightly more dynamic position pre-delivery.

Maruma is looking really good.

I know Brandon James hasn’t done very well at franchise level so far but batting at 9 and 10 is ridiculous - especially as he often scores runs for fun up the order in the Bulawayo league. Give him a chance.

Presumably he hasn’t paid Singo enough

Please please don't tell me Singo is still there? He is just a terrible guy.
He was supposed to have been fired for forging documents. They ignored the tens of thousands of dollars he stole over the many years so it's possible he's been forgiven.
