Is there any word as to how long they are looking to play until?
I still think at least one of them packs it in after Trent Bridge

Nice to see Richie playing properly, watching a lot of domestic cricket the guys at the bottom of the order simply give their wickets away slogging every ball. Blessing and Richie are not in the league of Bobby or Chats so need to put their heads down and play like a batsman.

Rauf will get him in this over though, too quick for him.

Raza is the same age but avoids these discussions

It’s tough. They’re all good, maybe currently better than what we have coming through but how long do you let them play? The longer they play then the older the guys replacing them will be when they finally get their shot. Curran, Jonno and NW are in their mid 20’s now, if they have to wait until the big three retire after the 2027 World Cup, they’ll all be like 30 and just starting their international careers proper  it sounds madness. Ponzo is 30 now and has been playing forever it feels.

I’d either chop them after Trent Bridge or start rotating them so only one plays each game so there is a bit of experience to help bring through the young lads. have all three playing every game for the next three years and everyone is just stuck in limbo going nowhere.

Ngarava seems to be on top of the situation

Raza is the one I can see chucking it in first. Can see him saying "I have lost form and are no long contributing" and then fly off to play in every pop up T10 league over the next 3 years.

Ervine and Williams have no choice, the longer they play the longer they will get paid. Decent money relative to the rest of Zim to.

Well Raza has performed better than them the last few years, has had fewer injuries, and generally always seems more like a 27 year old than a 37 year old, and seemingly more outward passion and enthusiasm for the game still.

Once again Zimbabwe have shown to have no understanding of how to build an ODI innings.

A face saving knock this by Ngarava, otherwise this was total shambles.
