The highlights package from yesterday is all I’ve seen of this bloke
But what am I missing?
He just looks like that generic potato gun 120-125km bowler that we have pumped out repeatedly over the last 15 years that come and go.
Had a couple of quite interesting FC games last year.

Remember him bowling Matt Welch neck and crop with a fast inswinger, which made me take notice.
Was it a ‘fast’ in swinger or only fast relative to 120km bowlers around him.

Ive lost count how many supposed 145k bowlers we have had upcoming but once we see them live with a gun on ten international stage they don’t touch 130.
I think it’s an illusion because 129 next to a few 115’s feels like 145 domestically

Yeah, obviously fast in the context of a Logan Cup game, with no speed gun!

But he hurried people, then pitched one up and splatted his stumps. Only 10 mins of cricket, months ago, but it was quite impressive.

Overall 1-2 in ODIs ans 1-2 in T20s, is something I would have taken at the start of the series.

2 wins against a good Pakistan side is a fair result for Zimbabwe at the moment.

To an extent. Some of the defeats were horrible.

Also, was there just one 50 across the whole tour? Big concerns in the batting.

Much needed win and well played

Burl's bowling can still keep him in the side, I'm expecting at least 2-3 changes for Afg series. Madande, Madhevere, Musikewa out...
Add Gwandu and Mavuta who added zero value..
Maybe a chatara comeback..

It is just an A team of a middling ranked side (Pakistan's ODI rating is inflated due to a home sweep last year 5-0 against a third string NZ side).

I wouldn't celebrate the results against this Pakistan team too much. Our batting never fired at all, our only wins were due to some very poor Pakistani batting. This Pakistan team is particularly weak also.

I know we could say weakened side.

Still Pakistan got the better of Australia at home.
I’m aware not all the same players.

Batting not always firing, shouldn’t take away from our good bowlers
