I'm not sure how this 4 day works, but I'm sure there are extra overs and time available today, light permitting. It could have a surprise result, but highly unlikely, they'd need to get thru the Mountsineers batting line up very soon.

If they opt to declare it will certainly be interesting when they do that. Pretty sure they won't stiff NW.
They won't declare and set a game up. 4 day captaincy is so dull and negative sometimes.

Think Maruma and Nick tee off after the 200/100 milestones? if they dont declare and bat through

I don't think you can set a game up from here. An earlier declaration in the Rhinos game was on the cards, but as u said the 400 carries bonus points. So if Mountaineers got 400 in their second innings that's more probable than a result as well?

Big dilemma here for chatara.

He can get to about 150 and declare, giving him a small shot at winning and leaving Nick, who is white, stranded just shy of 200,
But that would also mean Maruma, a black man, gets robbed of a century.

Big decision.
I don't get this point. Would a captain actually want his team mate to fail? Having actually watched these guys before I reckon this is all armchair talk. Welch is a team hero for the contributions he always makes for the team. I don't think there is too much of colour talk there or any big decisions to be made based on the colour of the batters.

More said in jest, but one of those where you wouldnt be surprised if it was true, but unlikely.

NW bowled on 159. U don't get too many chances at a double. Passed up on two of them inside a month.

He does have a very good ave. of 32+ given the number of games he actually played. And we need to remember he started off primarily as a bowler until he started hitting centuries. Pushing for a test recall perhaps.
