He need not is Hami can be convinced to open (which he has been doing with Mawoyo up there, except the very first innings against the Aussies when he and Vusi put on 100+)...so it would be...

1. Sibanda
2. Masakadza
3. Taylor
4. Mutizwa
5. Ervine
6. Taibu
7. Chigumbura
8. Meth
9. Price
10. Vitori
11. Mpofu

....but its interesting we are happy with just one good innings from Foster and Craig, but insist others have to "prove" themselves (not complaining ...just noting!)
So is Kyle Jarvis and Utseya not playing? The latter is one of your best spinners.

Ervine gone, has he done enough to be counted in for the test match? Forster Mutizwa has played many good innings for his franchise and made most of rare sorrays in the Zimbabwe team against Kenya and then aussie practise match and now this one

A certainty for the test match you would think?

Forster should be a cert.

Ervine proves to be a big game bottler - AGAIN. :-x
A talented batsman but a modest, hardworking character, Stuart Matsikenyeri is the third of three school friends from Churchill Boys High School, Harare to represent Zimbabwe in international cricket. - Cricinfo.

Zim requiring a run an over nw, should be done in quick time. With Craig it is only a matter of form as we all knw that he has the talent to put in big ones. Forster IMO dd better than Mawoyo and Chakabva 1000% in the pre season, not today only, its about time they take a chance on him and hope he delivers. Craig out for 42, but that should do....

Well they are already calling for Razzak's head, and they're not too impressed with Shakib's captaincy either ;)
That is not unprecedented i must say.

We Bangladeshi fans are mostly emotional and we have drastic chance in opinions within short span of time.

Razzak is a good bowler and we need to give him some overs, to help him get acclimatized.

And you cannot blame captaincy when the opponents are doing good...thats a lame excuse. Every captain gives his best...issue is that they are the first to be blamed.

He should be in IMO. He adds a different touch to Zim batting line. Aggression if blended with composure is inherent in this style of play, he could be your "Wall".

Why can't Ervine get a big hundred? G. Flower should work with this lad, help him build a big innings instead of these 20's, 30's and 40's.
Vusi, Mawoyo, H.Masakadza, Taylor, Ervine, Williams, Mutumbami, S.Masakadza, Meth, Price, Jarvis

This is Razzak's test statistics...
Mat Inns Balls Runs Wkts BBI BBM Ave Econ SR 4w 5w 10
Tests 8 12 1881 1079 16 3/93 4/144 67.43 3.44 117.5 0 0 0

How can he be a good bowler for test? He is 29 years old. Why didn't Shakib Riyad yet? Why removed Nasir just after getting the wicket? He seemed to do fine.

Bro you are a sensible poster...have read your posts in BC forum as well, though am not a member there.

Your statistics backs your claim up, but i meant in general. Razzak aint a good test bowler, would not mean not giving him a few overs in the practice match. Everyone needs to brush up.

As you mentioned you are not worried about the result of this match, hence removing Nasir shouldnt be our concern. Now as i type, Ashraful is back. Does that means he is a better bowler...?!? Thing is Shakib is just gambling and i accept that we as fans might not like losing this match...but hey lets face it, we are losing.

Razzak should not be there for the tests...we need a batsman and IMO, Shuvagoto is a better option.

Shakib may be not using Riyad as he might want to leave at least a bowler not used before test.

That logic might be weak but is just another prediction.

Who would you play, given is likely not to get a chance?
