Brilliant work from the batters at the end there. Kaitano has a fantastic technique. Very Sibanda like. Really hope he keeps opening up those scoring shots because he clearly has them in his locker.
I just hope Welch doesn't get too cute, as he was making that look absolutely piss easy.
Big big day in store

Well done Welchy. More of this please!! Hopefully he'll get selected for the LOI sides going forward where he can do some real damage up top
Re: Match Thread: Only Test Zimbabwe v Ireland (6th -10th February 2025)
How horrid was our selection when of the two debutants, ones a captain and one’s charging to a maiden century in debut from number 3. It implicitly shows they know what the best team should be.

Exactly. That's just what I was thinking. They wouldn't have played Welch or Campbell I reckon had Williams and Ervine been in the mix. Wez would have played for sure. On that note, though, I'm stoked that he's getting into some FC form. He's clearly very talented

They would have played one of them, but not both. Raza was the non black to make way should everyone have been fit.sloandog wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 9:19 amExactly. That's just what I was thinking. 5 is the quota, we are just fooled because Raza is a mainstay, so we think its 4.

Great knock by Wes, he looks like a guy full of confidence. Yeah Captain was a bit too aggressive but thats his game so its part of the risk!
The higher you go the cooler it becomes.
