Mostly dead and buried but 103 to get and Wes batting beautifully. A tiny bit of hope but a rain dance is the obvious solution.
Really hoping this can be a turning point for Wes.

It's not rocket science , besides the old brigade who pick themselves for every series you must give opportunities to those who are in form domestically. For too long Wes was given games when clearly he was hopelessly out of confidence and form but continued to get selected which in no good for either party. Struggled for a couple of years and now something has clicked for him, he looks to have his game in order thanks to making back to back hundreds domestically. This is easily the best Wes has looked since his debut. I have confidence that it will continue for him.

Very timely knock for Madhevere in many ways. This is a very high pressure situation (4th innings, staring down the barrel, poor form) and he’s survived to fight another day. Real innings of steel and resolve.

Good knock by Wes. A really needless shot from Campbell when the partnership was looking threatening and Ireland were starting to feel the pressure.

Can't see it raining throughout the day and there is no way they can score 103 from here on. Another painful defeat loading.

That's the danger of hyping players whilst slandering others. The pressure for them to perform will be too much. In the end these guys will have to play with each other for years to come.

Let's see how far Wes can take this game. Kind of reminds me of when Burl and Wes were batting against Scotland. It was a cross roads moment and they fell short. This is a much tougher situation so let's just see how far they can take it. 1 run at a time. It's good that we have him back in form.

The one issue that needs a long term resolution is the wicket keeper batsman. Still up for grabs in my opinion.

Might be where BT can help?

Today could be a career defining moment for Wes if he can guide us home.
He will need someone to stick around and chip in. I think the other three guys left to bat with him can hold a bat though.
