Wow the self destruct button has been pressed big time. What a pathetic effort from 2-162 to this garbage

Awful session. On a 380 par pitch. Yeesh. Bet on Bangla for the win.

He isn’t the kind of player my team would be looking for  that incident in the gym car park got him noticed for the wrong reasons. Now in the heat of battle in Chittagong he’s left his mates up a creek with some nonsense injury. Gone off and only come out at number nine to save face, lasting two balls. Contrast that with Williams a couple of tests ago, slipping seven discs in his back, coming out at nine and making a solid 49

This welch BS is up there with raza chasing PSL rupees in Lahore and watching his mates get cooked in Chittagong on bet365. You don’t do that to your mates ever, not in my team anyway.

There's not a lot you can do when you get strong cramp. Your legs stop working. Not sure if they are allowed runners though, could of gone with that. Also perhaps him and Williams shouldn't be getting cramp that early but conditions were reported to be very hot. Also I don't think they want injuries before England game with our lack of depth.

After another strange start NW settled down and played a really good innings. That partnership with Williams was an outstanding spell of test cricket. Those bowlers were absolutely on point ball after ball. Even Williams was getting a bit stuck for singles. It was great stuff.

I saw they were wearing heart monitors, which probably meant the staff were also getting temperature information.
I suspect that NW possibly had heat stroke or he'd have definitely come out a lot sooner. There had to be a very good reason for him only coming out at 11, unless those are the rules? Aside from rehydrate I'm sure they can administer a drip, which fixes cramp pretty quickly so I'm tending towards heat stroke. We may find out if ZC care to tell us.

Pretty sure he was batting to retain his spot there.

Williams batted beautifully. Curran rode his luck a bit and was looking good.
Bennett just makes batting look easy, but he's got a little glitch to work on there. Identical dismissal to the first game. Gets runs from that shot but if it climbs he nicks it. Drops his elbow and its a half cut half punch, an awkward position he gets into.
Ervine was unlucky, stayed a bit low, shot was on.
Madhevere got an absolute jaffer. Fantastic delivery and nothing he could have done about that.
Tsiga looked really good.
Masakadza just got too far across, needs to think about a leg stump guard .

Hard to explain these collapses, NW going off was the catalyst. That innings would have settled him a lot. He's under a lot of pressure, knows he's on a short rope. He and Williams played beautifully there.

That's not a 388 average first innings pitch
That spin was outrageous. Even the new ball on a day 1 pitch was turning a lot.

I think about 300-330 is par for this specific pitch. we will see with how Bangladesh bats. I don't know if our spinners are that good though. We bowl one bad ball every other over which is more than enough in a test match.
