Just when I was starting to relax they declared - aggressiv move, but in a one-off test after six years in the wilderness you don't give the oppsition a sniff.

Exactly what I advised yesterday almost to the letter...see An optimist's view of Day3"...but not sure about it anymore, would have loved less overs for the opponents to get the target (impliedly more runs)...lets see how it goes...still in the pound seats...

I would also bowl a combination of Vitori/Jarvis and Mpofu...attack and control, but hey Jarvis just bowled a maiden...why am I so nervous????

Vitori's getting a bit of stick from Tamim here... I don't think his bowling has been that bad, a couple of those cuts could have easily gone to second slip. Such is the way Tamim bats I suppose... you don't want him to got on a roll though.

Re: [Match thread] Only Test - Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh
In hindsight, one of the reasons for the declaration might be that Bangladesh is a typical ODI side with gifted test status. The way they played after a year in this test in both innings is ample indication that they will be bundled out in 60 over. Perhaps my only worry was that i wanted few more time wasted on this pitch so that Price can cast his magic spell on a weary pitch. The lads seems back in the rhythm.
