What a dude this god guy is.

He allows so much death, plague and disaster in the world. He allows vicious austerity and economic decline across the globe. He allows the Bilderbergers and Pro-Israeli stooges to loot and rob the worlds assets and keep the average man and woman in the street poor. He allows first the Western nations and now the Chinese to loot and asset strip Africa's natural resources while the people remain impoverished.

But he saves Zimbabwe cricket.

This God dude certainly has his priorities right.

God gave humans freedom and with this freedom humans don't always do the right thing. God doesn't exist to make our lives as simple as possible - why do we have to work at all? Couldn't God just send money down from the clouds to us? We are challenged here on Earth to live by Jesus' teachings, but because we are all flawed beings we constantly fail.

The West and East haven't always done right by Africa, but Africans don't do well by their own continent either. African societies are some of the most corrupt on earth, and it is Africans who allow this to happen. Not everything is some Judeo-Christian conspiracy.

God does not exist. Full stop. You may as well worship greek gods, roman gods, or ancestors.

Money is a social construct to replace barter. God-eon gono gave zim trillions. Did not do much good. Lol.

Organised religion can kiss my great hairy ballbag if it thinks i am going to live according to its demands.

Jesus,if he existed, and his so called teachings. People can live by them if they want. Do not rope me into it.

As for stuff like same sex marriage. The church needs to get with it and stop being so backwards and accept benders as a part of modern society.

Okay. Being in the creative industry has given me a deeper understanding of God the creator, All that is around us is testament of Divine creator.

Dude I would love to know how you account for the world and all that has been created, where it came from and hows its sooooo precise in its balance and equilibrium.

The divine creator - lol.

As for where the earth came from, I doubt it was out of the butt of some mythical superstition.

Zimfanatic: Like most people of your ilk you actually have no idea what religion is. Where did I ever say you have to live by my demands? Jesus very definately did exist - his existence has never been in question. Many churches advocate equality for all, including people who are homosexual. The Episcopal Church in the USA - who I work for - has infact been one of the leaders in the USA for same-sex equality. I think it is time you review your narrow-minded view of what religion is and who people who follow Jesus really are.

Are there alot of people out there who proclaim to follow Jesus but then do the complete opposite of his teachings - sure. But it is completely ignorant to put all religious people into the same category.

Just like to send both our administrators a message not to block this thread if that's ok...i know it's not cricket related, but it's interesting my friends.

Try and watch your tone there fella'. I'm a catholic, and I follow the bible (i'm by no means a radical catholic) to a certain degree, and reading a comment like that is rather insulting. You're not as cruel and as stupid as the comment suggests, you've wrote some great stuff on the forum over the years, but don't ruin all that now by self proclaiming your hate for all Catholics in such a stupid manner. The topic of religion is always going to be a hot potato, so don't make the oven hotter! Have some damn respect
