nice little moment there with Mangongo and his child.
It's a brilliant win is this, especially with all the contractual issues and player issues before the game, not to mention the disastrous tour of the West Indies. It's just so refreshing to write about something positive. Taylor back in the runs, Cremer taking wickets, Meth and Mazakadza showing how much they've both improved, Waller scoring a good gritty 55, and the fielding has been absolutely superb! The Zimbabwe of old during this test match!

Cremer on a hat-trick!
And betters his best bowling figures in Test cricket once again; now it is 4/4.
What a great catch by Kyle Jarvis.
His average is coming down rapidly too, it was mid 50s before this game. Now it's 43.
Congratulations Zimbabwe, what a huge, huge victory!

Taylor states a few stern words from the coach to the bolwers after their, bolwing so i guess Mangongo style of coaching works .a i call a spade a spade

Mangongo needs to be the permanent head coach, results speak for themselves
Re: Match Thread - Zimbawe v Bangladesh 1st Test
Mangongo will certainly be pleased. Still don't think he should be the coach however.

Yelling doesn't produce that kind of thing. 273 runs came from Taylor's quality and Streak's quiet words over the phone to the bowlers probably counted for more than the stern crankiness.

What ever he has said or done has just lead Zim to our biggest ever test win... so its obvious Mangongo's style deserves a chance
Re: Match Thread - Zimbawe v Bangladesh 1st Test
I think that is over stating the power that a coach has to change things.
