Mangongo and Rainsford think a 350 chase will be on. I'm sure Mushfiq and company are aware that ZIM nearly chased 350+ against NZ not long ago. Jurgensen reckons they want to set 400.

I hope we bat for 50 overs and set a target around 450. We need as big a win as we can get to prove the first Test was a two-off fluke.

Lead is past 300 now...off side is packed...will be tougher to pierce the field and get those 2s and occaisional boundaries. Will be interesting to see how we score the runs here.

Quiet around here today, no surprise there! But a couple of quick wickets has brought me out of the woods :W: :W:

Damn no century for little Mushy...good innings nonetheless. Terrific catch from Sibanda.

400 is going to be a little tough to get, but still possible. Nas will have to go Illmatic soon.

I haven't seen any of the play this morning. Are there any demons in the wicket?
Every over closer we get to tea, the more confident I am Zimbabwe could (possibly) fight it out for a draw. I don't think they could survive five sessions, but four sessions maybe is an outside chance.

Have defensive fields / defensive lines been employed in the morning session?

Wicket is still pretty good and it doesn't look like it'll deteriorate that much.

Pitch has had a little bit of turn, thats it. But Robiul has been able to make the ball talk all along the series so far.

There was a 7-8 over passage of play where only 5 or so runs were scored with a 7-2 off side field and Jarvis and Shingi bowling 2 feet outside off. Runs flowed on either side of that stretch though to get an overall session rate of 3.26 per over I believe.

Hamilton broke the partnership once again with Sibanda taking an absolute blinder.

Not sure whether to feel happy or sad about the fall of wicket, more quickly the wickets fall, more time we have to bat out. Else, the score grows even further...
