[MATCH THREAD] Zim v Bangla 3rd Bulawayo ODI
Re: [MATCH THREAD] Zim v Bangla 3rd Bulawayo ODI
Great win for Zimbabwe, not sure I agreed with Williams blocking out 5 balls at the end but it was great to see Vusi returning to form with a century.

Oh look, I think it was fair enough. There were 4 overs to go and 7 wickets in hand... it wasn't really that tight, there was no risk involved. Williams did the right thing I reckon. So did the umpires.eugene wrote:Great win for Zimbabwe, not sure I agreed with Williams blocking out 5 balls at the end but it was great to see Vusi returning to form with a century.
Sometimes individual milestones can be worth as much as a good team effort. Now that Sibanda has finally made a century, that psychological block he's had might be gone.

There were so many balls remaining - Vusi really needed it, so did the team.eugene wrote:Great win for Zimbabwe, not sure I agreed with Williams blocking out 5 balls at the end but it was great to see Vusi returning to form with a century.

yes, as my predictive post suggested I thought he'd bottle it .. he didn't though, and that in itself may waylay the need for a psychologist for nowZIMDOGGY wrote:vusi was his own worst enemy. guy was shitting himself. it was painful to look at his face poor guy.
