Cricinfo posters are retards, 99% of them. What facebook group have you been frequenting? I don't check many of them, although I did create the original fb Bangladesh fan page.

Anyways, my analysis above was 100%. The only thing is that my tone will be slightly different when I post on BanglaCricket's forum... :D

I don't think Mushfiq should have resigned, as mediocre as he might be, he's been our best captain by some distance (Shakib is next), and we don't have anyone else we could turn to who hasn't failed already. A bit of a knee jerk reaction as one bad series in ZIM isn't the end of the world. But I will say that as a fan, I've never been as disappointed by a series outcome than this series.

The reality is that Bangladesh's superiority over Zimbabwe is relative to the metric by which you measure them. They were hands down the better team from 2005 to 2011, but sometime after 2010, they narrowed the gap very quickly. There are now metrics that would suggest Zimbabwe are the better side, an assertion I myself would have scoffed at less than a week ago.

Images of that highlight of series for so many reasons, Great sportsmanship from Williams this act of un-selfishness hopefully leads the way for a great future of cricket in Zimbabwe for both Black & White ??

On a different note, the kit looks dire. A sponsor is needed asap for the next series. We can't keep playing in that kit it's just simply embarrassing to look at, let alone to play in. Hopefully with this series victory we'll get some kind of sponsorship going, otherwise...well it's just a joke
Its generally considered kits look MUCH better without sponsors logos scribbled all over them...

Although i do agree the design itself is pretty bland. Doesnt hold a candle to the mid 00 and mid nineties designs.

Let's wait for the metric of the return series in BD before we decide who is better. Zim still has a lot to prove. What we have done is show that we are in the same class as BD.

true ... and at home to boot!
but our batsmen looked more assured than recently - top order firing and middle order cleaning up - hard to know if there is finally some improvement in this regard. next couple of series will give us a better picture but in fact the away series will be the best measure

Haha,
I have read some of the fans clashes. I dont join in but i get a kick out of them. Its hilarious. Its a rumble in the third world jungle.
And gee...if people think I'M racist then people will throw up at some of the stuff i've read the last week.

Usually goes like this:

1)Zimbabwean fan/s gloats and baits bangladeshis on winning:

2)BD fans react with such gems as 'the players look too dirty and black on camera they need to wash' and 'black bustard' seems to get dropped frequently in between really broken english.

3)Zim fans react and mock of Islam/terrorism and the earthquake tower thingy that just happened.

4) more zim fans react and tease bd fans of bad english...(while typed in ghetto english)

5) zim fans gloat about superior zim living standards.

6)BD fans swear and racially abuse again.

7) other bd and zim fans come in with wise words of peace and harmony.
