I know, you rate him googly, but these are hardly the stats of a man pushing for a Baggy Green, or walking right into the Zim side. But a worthy addition to the domestic set-up for sure.

Just for comparison, Solomon Mire who plays First Grade in Victoria http://mycricket.cricket.com.au/common/ ... 47&eid=205

I guess it would be difficult to lure a Mire (or Brundle) back to Zim with only the prospect of badly paid franchise cricket.

Get them both in the team right away.

If u use that website to check stats on a number of top batters, their averages are surprisingly low. I do agree up to a point but his career has been very stop start. Apparently he's going to bowl this coming season, so will be interesting to see how he goes.

Have spent a bit more time and the results are surprising. Most of the good batters averages are in the low thirties.

It is starting to look that way isn't it?! I would call it the 'Zimbabwe Developmental Please Don't leave us for another country XI.'
