According to Cricket Australia web site there are playing a 3 day match from the 18th of July to 20th of July. Not a lot but good warm up for our boys
Re: Australia A vs Zimbabwe
...and according to cricinfo, a Zim XI is playing South Africa A at the same time!

Peterhouse U14C 4th change bowler and no. 10 batsman (but only because Aaron didn't have a bat).

Day One: Aus A bat, Zim bowl - DAY TWO: SA A bat, Aus A bowl - DAY THREE: Zim bat, SA A bowl. Each bowling side is allowed two supersubs from the other non-batting side. The winner will be decided by a highly sophisticated mathematical formula which nobody understands.
Re: Australia A vs Zimbabwe
An Aus A game would be great to measure how things are going after BD.
Re: Australia A vs Zimbabwe
The article also mentions a one day series involving India A- is that what has become of the India tour?
Re: Australia A vs Zimbabwe
No, the India A tour is only to South Africa and is a separate tour. However, this did come out recently:
Shame about the tests, I'm guessing the impending Pakistan tour cramped the timetable a bit.
http://ibnlive.in.com/news/cricketnext/ ... 56-78.htmlMumbai: The BCCI is set to field a second-string team for India's tour of Zimbabwe in July-August, according to a leading Indian daily. India are scheduled to play five ODIs from July 24 to August 3.
According to sources in the BCCI, India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Virat Kohli, R Ashwin, Ishant Sharma and others are likely to be rested.
"Some of the top players will not be featuring in the tour of Zimbabwe as we feel they need rest because a long season awaits them. In 2010, we sent a second-string side and the same will happen this time also," a BCCI source said.
BCCI were in talks to play two Tests and three ODI's with Zimbabwe so that Sachin Tendulkar could complete 200 Test matches. However, the logistics didn't work out and both boards agreed to have five ODI's instead.
"We wanted to have two Test matches for Tendulkar to complete 200 Test matches but it didn't work out," a source added.

Re: Australia A vs Zimbabwe
This is speculative journalism at its worst. Zim turning down offer of tests by BCCI? No way. They would have asked Pak and SL to wait if that was going to happen. There are speculations about whether Tendulkar would play 200 tests or not, whether BCCI should risk taking him to SA in their next tour etc. There have been suggestions made in jest that India should invite Zim / Bangla for a two test series so that he can reach the 200 mark. They are reporting this assuming that this could have easily happened
