Maybe he secretly wished Zim would fail without him. But at this rate and these kind of performances from the bowlers he will be forgotten very soon and that might not go down well with him. And that maybe part of his conditions at Lancs that he never speaks well about Zim IF he wanted to make the 1st XI and also play for Eng.jimbo wrote:lot of zim players such as sean williams coventry craig ervine following zim cricket on twitter and giving their two pennies worth
Bit of poor form on jarvis part that he hasnt mentioned their stirling efforts past few days and today on his twitter. Sour grapes?

When Zimbabwe beat Bangladesh it was Jarvis, Meth, Shingi and Cremer as the bowling attack. The fact that an entirely different attack performed so well in both tests against Pakistan is truly amazing. Taylor said 6 months with no proper bowling coach in the post-match presentation. I hope ZC are paying attention. More fixtures please!

According to Star FM... they had a guy called "The Chief" on. He sounded pretty knowledgeable, I don't know who he is though.
He said:
- Andy Flower sent a message through to the team, and then called the guys and spoke to a few of them to congratulate the them.
- The franchise season will be happening, it's due to start on 1 November. Acknowledged there won't be a high level of competition though unless ZC gets in overseas players.
- Has it on "good authority" that there's a "convergence of management" at the ICC. He said following on from the radio interview they had with the ICC bloke who was in Zimbabwe recently to talk about finances, he thinks the ICC will step in to help financially.

A historic day. I was following it up live and on twitter. Elated and emotionally drained but this is huge.

Unfortunately wasn't able to watvh the last day after watching all the rest due to a function. Glad I didn't have to stress my way through it, though.
So happy to see the guys get there. Chatara has backed up his great domestic cricket with a match winning effort against a top 8 team. Not many Zim bowlers have that on their resume.
