Sloandog, I confess to not having seen him for a while but you just can't buy hand eye, especially not in T20. This guy has got real talent.

Is there anyone who doubts Moor? With unanimous backing from the fans this is a freight train that can't be stopped.

Moor has never scored any runs of note against full-strenght domestic attacks. For every freight train there's a brick wall waiting somewhere ;)

I think we all want Moor - runs from PJ then possibly a national call up .....

I don't think there has ever been so much debate about a guy who hasn't scored a 1st class ton or came close to national selection lol ......

PJ Moor signs for YMCA

CricketEurope
28 March 2014

23 year old Zimbabwean PJ Moor has joined YMCA from Belfast side CIYMS.

The former Zimbabwean U19 international, who played in the 2010 World Cup in New Zealand, is eligible to play for Ireland holding an Irish passport by virtue of his ancestry.

Following distinctly average performances in the NCU, he will be hoping a change of scenery will mean a change in fortunes. Moor scored just 281 in 18 innings during 2013 at an average of just 15.61, scoring a solitary half-century.

However, Moor has been showing decent form back in his native Zimbabwe, scoring an unbeaten century for his club Midwest Rhinos earlier this month.

His signing will boost the playing staff at Claremont Road following the loss of Reinhardt Strydom to Malahide, and the likely limited availability of both Jeremy Bray and Trent Johnston due to coaching commitments.

Of what I have seen of him, he is a long way off selection. He needs to score heavily this season, and if there is one, next season, before i even consider to change my mind
PJ Moor is committed to playing for Ireland, he will play in there 4 day comp this year and for CYIS on club weekends, like Nathan Waller ZC are aware of this and are allowing him to play as an overseas player
Wrong club but looks like my predictions were right, time to end moormaina ;)

The article only states that he is eligible for Ireland. Not that he is going to play for them. To be honest I think he is closer to breaking into the Zimbabwean team than the Irish.

For what it is worth I sent PJ a message asking Zimbabwe or Ireland? He replied Zim.
