Thank you all for your very helpful responses. It seems that no one has really bothered to ask people what they think should be done.

All of your suggestions have been very good and I'm sorry that I won't be able to reply to you all individually but I will take your suggestions and try to put them into action. We may not have the kind of resources as other countries do but we can still make a plan!

Please keep the suggestions coming in, I've already started putting them into a document and the more we get the better.

Thanks to you all!

I guess one other idea would be to prod the other franchises, so that they can do something similar.

Live streaming matches wont be a possibility as it seems you're always having net issues in ZIM. You could perhaps just set up one camera from one end and record the whole days play then edit it down to just the important bits.

I like your already 'know your Rhinos' series.

Keep up with the good work! :D

EDIT: Just seen the video in the other thread, great stuff! But would be much better if the camera was high above the sight screen.

One day the net works like a dream and the next day we are back to 1997 with dial up speeds. If we could guarantee a consistent speed then we could come up with something. The other problem is we need a cable to hook up to the computer which I may have left in the Uk when I came back.

I don't know if you've been to KKSC but there is a com box above the sight screen which is one of the best views I've ever seen in cricket. The problem is the stairs are solid but provide of a nice view of your ascension and show just how far away you are from the ground and then when you get into the box it creaks and groans like crazy. I've been up once and never again. Even when Clive Lloyd came here years ago he was invited up but he just said he would trust that the view is excellent!

I wanted to do daily highlights of the game but it turned out to be a lot of work and at the end of the day's play it would mean staying until about half 6. I'm sure in time once we get into a proper routine doing these videos it won't be as long, I'm still working towards doing daily highlights, that's the main goal.

Thanks for all of your helpful suggestions!

invite school kids to come to the ground . i think a lot of fans want to come n watch but they don't know wther there is a match or not . a pub like the one at hsc will attract fans and franchise membership would increase fan loyalty .distribute mid west rhinos magazines with player profiles fans don't actually know who plays for the franchise e.g all i know is that waller n sibanda r there n taylor moved to the eagles

Any chance of getting some video of Carl Mumba bowling??

And did you get a chance to speak to Kyle Jarvis during his stint with the Rhino's ?? Any chance he will be returning after his County contract is up??

So gut wrenching when he says his future is in county cricket. Without doubt the best bowler Zim has and with the right coaching (which i think Whatmore can provide) he could be in the top 10 in the world. He is definitely one of the best in the game.

He's struggling to be in the top 10 on Lancashire's staff at present, so let's not get too carried away...
