Isn't the bird a crest, and the MDC box thing the logo?

The logo on the playing shirts changed as far back as 2009. It was the series against Bangladesh in August 2009, when the likes of Coventry, Taylor and Vermuelan returned. Before that as you rightly point out, the logo was the awful box.

If you go to the ZC website http://zimcricket.org/ you will see the box still is the logo. They just adopted the crest for the uniform.

I think so, but then the secret police thought it was an MDC symbol.
