I have no idea actually. Is it to do with Douglas Hondo?CrimsonAvenger wrote:Any reply at all?CrimsonAvenger wrote:So, here's my next question...
Why did a cricket commentator said during a series against Zimbabwe, that the Indian team was suffering from "Douglas Syndrome"?

The Indians were on a dreadlock holiday... caught napping at the crease or in the field... ??

Re: Zimbabwe cricket quiz
Well, let me give the answer away...
In the 5 ODI match series in 2001-02 at home, India were trailing Zim 1-2 after 3 matches. The two losses were largely due to the heroics of the two "Douglas"es in the Zim team. Douglas Marillier scooped his way to stardom in the first match (http://www.cricinfo.com/link_to_databas ... R2002.html), and Douglas Hondo rocked the Indian top order to ensure another victory for Zim in the third match (http://www.cricinfo.com/link_to_databas ... R2002.html). That is the reason for that comment.
But unfortunately, Zimbabwe went on to lose the series 2-3.
Here's the new question, a lot easier...
Who has won the most number of "Player of the Series" awards for Zimbabwe (tests, ODIs and T20s inclusive) ?
