Not no.3 as thats Williams place but he is great as opener, no.4 or slogger at end overs. The fact is he can build inn so first two options for me.

compared to the over options he is the best we have
In the team? Sure.

At three? I do not agree. I'd much rather see Taylor, Williams or (eventually) Taibu batting there. It's fine to bat him there in this series because the Bangladesh pace attack is neither good not plentiful and the pitches are essentially not fit for cricket, but his technique against the quicks would make him a sitting duck at three in most circumstances.

I'm not trying to take anything away from the innings as such; it has been excellent. I just think people need to calm down and take it into perspective before claiming we've found our #3. I think what we've found is our #6.
I see your point and defintly in the longer form of the game he should not bad at 3 but on a good pitch i think he can defintly do the role. Williams has always been my chocie to have at 3 but seems like the coaching staff and the player himself would rather bat at 4 or 5.

When Taibu comes back i would have him at 4

Wow Charles Coventry is batting brilliantly, he is now 129 from 125 balls.
Stuart Matsikenyeri just got run out by Shakib Al Hasan for 37.

This has been a great innings for Zimbabwe with 6 overs left. They are now 5/241, hope they can get up to the 260 mark.
