So, based on this series, we have a challenger for Taylor's "Captain Fantastic" moniker..?Jemisi wrote:Cremer doing well amidst the drops and the long hops

Cricinfo comments, at 396/7:
I'd say that was wishful thinking. Let's go for 450.Zim need to restrict Sri Lanka to 400

It sounds like Sir Graeme is the only one making a decent contest of it this morning.
This is where it would be handy to have a strike bowler who could just blast through the tail.

470 all out is my prediction

Cremer has moved past Whittall into 5th place for most international scalps by Zimbabweans. 140 for him with that wicket.

C'mon, Guy Whittall would have rocked the T20s if they were there during his timesJemisi wrote:Cremer has moved past Whittall into 5th place for most international scalps by Zimbabweans. 140 for him with that wicket.
Also, with his 3 wickets, Cremer is into top 10 all tome bowlers for Zim with 33 scalps so far, and more importantly, has pushed David Brain out of top 10 for the first time! Brain played last in 1995, 21 years ago, and could still manage to be in top 10 wickets takers for the county in tests with 30 scalps! That tells us a story...
And yes, clearly now, Moor is definitely not test quality, or any quality keeper. Should be in as a specialist batsman. May be we should give the gloves to Chari / Waller for the rest of the match, that could be a safer option?
