Yeah, having said that, whatever selection policy they are going for, there is no way Chigumbura deserves a place in the playing XI given his performances in the last few series. If Vusi is out of XV, Hamilton is out of XI, then Chigs should have been out of XV too. Waller at least showed form prior to this home season to get picked but nothing from Vusi and Chigs and patchy from Hamilton.

Also, if the question of "is his best still ahead of us?" is asked, clearly the answer for Vusi is a no, and if this is the basis on which they are taking the call, the answer is a much more resounding no for Chigs and Waller. And the case is at best iffy for Hamilton. Madziva is the succession plan for Chigs. And now.

The rain might be our friend or our foe here, a no result will give us 2 more points and sit us on 4 points just 3 behind both Sri Lanka and the Windies then hopefully Sri Lanka beat the Windies and we have a play off for a spot in the final against the Windies in the last match .....

I think Streak is trying to still pick his best side but also have a look to the future, by playing Chari ahead of Hami it's obvious they're trying to give Chari some experience with an eye on the future .....

I have no problem with leaving 2 spots for younger guys but I just feel they're grooming the wrong guy, they should be looking at Musakanda or Burl. I know Burl is injured but Chari just isn't the man atm.....

We're surely at a huge disadvantage now if there is any sort of restart (which I am somewhat doubting). Say the game is shortened to 20 overs each for example, yet we started the game steadily in the expectation of playing a 50 over innings. We'd only have a few overs to increase the total.
