MW, NW, GB, BT, RH, Knackers, Munyonga, Burl, Evans, Larry, Victor.

That beats our current national side every time in every format

Here's our best all format team

Bennett, Welch, Ballance, Taylor, Williams, Raza, Higgins, Welch (Jr) Evans, Mazarabani, Ngarava.

Bench- Ervine/knackers/MW

MW makes it ahead of Maru, Overlord, Mayavo, Madande as keeper. Untested but he's got the highest ceiling of those 3 as a batsman first but can keep. If Taylor could still keep then MW sits out for Ervine or Knackers.

The others pick themselves all day. This team wins some games!!! Not impossible to put together.

The national T20 side has a lot of the kids already so I'm expecting a few guys who don't get opportunities to play here. It's a good opportunity for the likes of Chiorah, Masekesa, Frost, the Welch brothers, Campbell Junior, Chataira, Falao and Naqvi to get some games. Is Naqvi allowed to play for the 'A' team?

Also an opportunity for Madande and Evans to play after their injuries. Ben isn't in the T20 side so he can play the one day games there too
naqvi has valid documents now?
I honestly don't know when he will be eligible but my suspicion is it's not too far away if he is still playing. I was asking if the same rules apply for A teams. Not sure about that.

Cant be leaving out the Zim A Captain Roy. Along with Maruma as vice.

Roy

I’d assume knackers could play an A or emerging game, however they dressed it up, he played those U25 games vs Uganda. I think stuff like that only matters at full senior level.

Instead of calling the side Zim A with definite links to ZC, they could call the side Union Hardware Select XI and BT could have a game as it wouldn’t be an ICC or member board affiliated series, it would be a private works team hosting Canada

If anyone has earned a Zim A spot recently, it's Maruma. He's played very very well this summer. Credit where credit's due

It’s just too late for him, in about 7 weeks he will be 37.
I wish he was at this level ten years ago.
