Everyone has forgotten about Evans. He's been really unlucky and is actually in a poor spot now and needs a big season. We've suddenly found some decent seamers in his absence and he keeps disappointing with the bat, but realistically doesnt get enuf opportunity to bat.
Things just haven't gone his way with injury. Another lay off would be really bad for his career!
I think Vezha is a prospect and can hold a bat.
Macheka would be really good if managed properly.

Does Prince have another few tests in him? a lot of.things have to go right for him to score runs.

Is Faraz at 8 worth a shot, basically an all-rounder now, could a job as a 3rd pacer with Mavuta/Welly, Raza and Williams as the spin options. With even dome overs from Myers Campbell and Bennett if they both play.
If there was a balance that allowed him to bat 8, and be the 4th seamer, then it could work.

If Myers improved his bowling he'd be a good 8 and then there's a spot for an out and out batter.

Surely 8 is way too low for someone like Myers? That would be a waste.

Another superb 100 from Craig and ably backed up by Faraz. Looks like they have called it. Again- what a shit declaration.

Why not at 8? There are good batters in the wings.

gutsy knock, basically batting half a day for the draw. Ervine rock solid and Faraz the man

Incredibly negative declaration. Doomed that last 2 hours to be more or less pointless.

The Rocks got 18 points for the draw whilst the Rhinos got 21 for a win...

Well, the dull declaration shouldn't be that surprising in this context, I guess.

With what Madande did in Ireland , now Gumbie is now the test wk..
Lineup
Prince
Gumbie wk
Sean
Myers
Craig
Raza if not available Curran
Burl
Evans
Mavuta
Blessing
Ngarava

Bennet , Madande and Wes should focus on limited overs game
