Should of been a easy win, but it was bad captaincy. It reminds me of James Anderson. We were playing Australia in the World Cup 2003 and we would of won the game we would of progressed. But Hussain gave him the last (or near the last) over and it ruined the game for us.

Anyway, good batting by Taibu. I was very impressed by him especially how he was able to switch gears so easily :W:

Apart from the swirling catch by Cremer, what made my day was the look of disbelief on streaky's face and huge smile on Campbells face.
Prosper did his best to loose the match but there were committed players on the field to pull it through. Shingi could have been in the middle for Taylor and not at death. Elton's end was not changed knowing 2 overs are still there to fill. WI are struggling so we preserved but should not repeat the mistakes.

Should have bowled Shingi earlier and saved a few over for Pricey and Utseya to bowl at the close - would have made things a little less nerve-wracking. But Shingi came back well to being hit for 10 off the first two balls - those two wickets won us the match.

Note of caution: we won the first match in Bangladesh before going on to lose 4-1. Guys need to keep their composure here and keep up the good work - but that's two wins on the trot now. Absolutely no reason we can't go on to win the series.

what a great result and against a WI team far stronger then what they sent to australia lets see how the rest of the series pans out but surely a close series will help bring the return to test cricket closer then 18 months

something tells me that, injuries permitting, it will be an unchanged XI for the 2nd ODI, go Zim!
