Re: National Premier League 2020 ( NPL )

I'm actually English by birth, lived there for years. My father and grandfather fought in both world wars, one in the trenches and one in the RAF. Not that I align myself as you can see.
However I'm talking about Zimbabweans living there and gravitating towards their own kind, both black and white nowadays. I know plenty that live there and 90% them socialize with other Zimbabweans. I guess most foreign communities do that, to be fair.

My comments were aimed at Ballance probably not being that averse to spending time in Zimbabwe because I'm almost prepared to guarantee that this is where his heart lies, despite having spent almost half his life in England.
I take back some of the unkind words, which were mostly said tongue in cheek, I see I ruffled your feathers, not intended.
I did try and make a go of it there and failed, ended up working on a building site as a labourer and then doing deliveries, sadly not following NW around watching him play cricket as you suggest  I was down south so watched Ed B quite a few times.

You'll be amazed at how many people try and return to Zim, for sure the work and the First World benefits keep them there, but they all yearn for home, and if they get the opportunity ie a decent job offer they inevitably return.
The older folk will stay for medical and health reasons, but the younger folk can't wait to wheel spin back here, even with all our problems.

David Houghton is going to coach the Mountaineers.
That's interesting.
I wonder if he's either been quietly spoken too or posturing for a national team contract?

He is in his 60s in a game that's favouring young energy so his county days might be close to done, either by choice or force.
The Indian must be on his last legs just going off previous years.
He probably wants to help Zimbabwe refind its feet between now and his 70th bday.

More importantly, can Houghton bring Ballance with him :)

The evidence just keeps stacking up for Ballance.
