Pathetic, hope Dipaz buggers off and utilizes his talents else where; I'm going to sign him for my club for the 2017 summer
If he was that good he would be in squad.

Both Dipaz and Zhawi are good enough and its sad but i guess the call made by the selectors was to have a more expirienced seam attack. I rate both as the future of Zimbabwe cricket. The problem is Mash has the largest selection pool and a number of lads will be dropped , another problem is the demise of the Rocks Franchise that pushed a number of good players to the remaining franchises resulting in the suppression of talent sad but very true fact.

When bowling at the highest level...

At franchise level he has lead the Eagles attack for a couple of years now. No way he was going to be left out.

Sometimes, tough decisions bring about the opportunities for unearthing great talent. While I agree that the likes of Muzarabani / Munyaradzi have done a decent job, when the potential and ceiling of exciting cricketers coming through is far more that the incumbents, tough decisions must be taken. Not fair on Muzarabani, but we need to look at Zimbabwean Cricket as a whole as the beneficiary. Zhawi and Diplock must get a go if they are indeed as talented as the folks here are making them out to be.

To be honest i dont the Diplock or Zhawi are really making big impressions to any serious selection, with the current pool of players playing in zim cricket , i doubt that anyone with serious talent at Franchise level will go unnoticed, even if there are individuals blocking them, i doubt if thats really true either.
The point is they are not doing enough on the local franchise scene to grab any real antention from anyone,

If Diplock was good enough he will be there.

As is, hes about same level as the guys ahead of him without the experience.

I was surprised to see Jakiel not get picked up in the IPL auction.

Action starts today hopefully we see some good pitches not the shithouse ones which were prepared for the Pakistan t20's ...

Hopefully we see James Bruce in action, might be a dark horse for a bowler / lower order hitter ( probably won't even play )
