Honestly, Brian Benett excites me. At just 19 he's shown a lot this season. Just hope to god the powers that be really look after him and don't rush him. They threw Roche in there after two games and he knobbed off to NZ because he was told he wouldn't be part of the the near future plans.

Nice to see Myers reminding everybody that he's class, too. Some big daddy hundreds too

Absolutely agree on not rushing Brian.

Let him have a summer of club cricket in a good league in the U.K. and then a full pro season here next season. He’s going to be very good

Theyre not going to rush him because they're panicking he might replace someone
If Naqvi gets to play before him it will be a bitter day.

Doesn't matter how old you are , if you are good enough you play . Plenty of great examples of players who debuted at 18 years of age or younger over the years.

Wow! 19 and he's scored a first class century. Fuck ZC, look after this guy and Myers. For the love of christ

I see on Cricinfo he has a twin brother called David who on paper seems to have been par with him. Where is he currently? Is he still in the system?

I always thought David would end up a better player, but I got that badly wrong. I think he's knocked it on the head. Bidza is a good player. Everyone talks of Myers, Madhevere and Shumba, but wait for when Bidza Bennet and Matty Welch get going over the next two seasons. They're going to be very good.
