There lies the problem , a different coach will not change a thing if they don't get the selections right.

ZC are in perpetual Groundhog day. It will never change. It requires a complete reset that will never happen, especially when the focus is now on the imminent Batonka and Bulagweru epic looting. Millions to be made.
This Salamander dude should have been here taking a look at everyone and finishing his negotiations here if he was serious. Thoroughly unimpressive start from him.
Hes not even a salamander yet, he's an axolotyl.
Look that up. You give them iodine and they can evolve into a Salamander

Some sort of announcement on Richard ngaravas injury or why he isn't in squad would be helpful.

He is now our undisputed best bowler as proved in past 12 months.

The fact you think that selection is the only issue in our cricket is very concerning.

Good selections would help us improve by about 1%.

The issues are so much deeper and worse and more serious. Picking 8 white players wouldn’t make us world beaters suddenly mate.

1% better cmon that's a ridiculous comment. You pick players that are suited to the format you are playing it's pretty simple. White or black I don't give a flying f###. It just so happens that imo the better players are white. N.Welch , Bennett , Campbell, Myers , Raza , Burl , Madande are the best options in the t20 format as batsman but they will play Shumba , Gumbie , Marumani and fail dismally again.

Marumani needs some tweaks and he can become a world class t20 batsman. I know I keep saying that but he's a phenomenal hitter.
Maybe Axolotl will have the codes and work with him?

You are the ridiculous one because you focus all your effort on attacking players and calling them 'dismal' etc without recognising the catastrophic shortfalls in our system and our environment that unfortunately are never likely to change.
Obviously sometimes selection is poor. And that doesn't help us. But you can take literally any 11 players from our entire country at present and they won't hit the heights we all want them to and there's much bigger systemic reasons than just selecting Gumbie.
I urge you to follow the game more closely, and to direct your complaints at the real deep reasons for our 20+ years of failure instead of just hurling abuse at our players.

Agreed. As much potential as anyone.
