Again, don't review unless you're frikking Brendan Taylor or Hamilton Masakadza or you know you not out. Commons sense eluding the two batsman Mire and Ervine or just willful obduracy.

Another silly review from Roach but they have the luxury of the driving seat.

And is he is not bowing "because he is a one day bowler and not a Test bowler " as Jaybro asserts, is there a reason why a specialists batsman is picked to bat at 7 and possibly 8 if he bats after Chakabva?

Maybe I'm just being obtuse?
Stop it! You're being racist thinking rationally.

We can safely conclude that Mire is not a test opener. I hope that's the last we see of that experiment.

He actually looked very solid, but it's the rush of blood which will always categorise him as an ODI specialist.
As evidenced by his 4 overs, Cremer has very little faith in him so he can't make the side as an all-rounder.

But still an exceptional talent.

Annual Catastrophic collapse loading.. The difference a quality seamer makes.. looks like that might also be the end of Mire's test career for now.. He just can't help himself.. last over before lunch. Ervine is looking less and less like a number 3 too. He is very nervous upfront something a number 3 can't be no matter what the situation is against a quality bowling attack

The only way we can survive in Port Elizabeth is to draft guys who know how to spend time on the crease. Mawoyo and Mutizwa are the first 2 guys who come into my mind that have to replace Solomon and Waller( both guys are better in limited overs cricket to be honest). Tino needs to get out of that comm box and into the nets ASAP. It can only get worse against the proteas. And also please stop this 8-3

A lot of tough lessons being learnt here. All that hope from Sri Lanka gone. First time the coaches and selectors are under pressure
+1 not sure about mutizwa but we shall see would rather maybe go with youth in burl
The Zimbabwe Cricket team have found Ebola in one of their members, but they're not concerned because they have also found Ebatsmen and Efielda!

Good part about the modern express pace bowler is you only need to withstand just 4-6 of their overs.

Catch is to score big meanwhile. Hope these two get the memo because the match is still not over.
