We have depth now!!!!

I have been following the Logan cup matches in progress today ad was thinking to myself, hmm those are some pretty good sides, but a couple of big names are missing. I wonder why. Only when came here did it dawn on me that the Zim side has left for their warm-up games already. This prompted me to go back and have a proper look at the sides. They are good sides. With quality players in them. I was particularly impressed with the fluent 90-odd by Kevin Kasuza. I mean there are players, and not just one or 2 that should feel a little disappointed they didn't makes the squad oe way or another. Nice to see depth in the sides .

On a side note, respect to the groundsmen cause both games seem to be good batting wickets, which can't have been easy with all the rain around.

Kasuza is going to be a prospect to watch . He was in top form for the Under 19s that were in South Africa recently . I hope he progresses well, . I think I will have a chance to dash to Mutare Sports club after work to see some of the action .

yes we have depth these days it proves when masakadza cant make the 15 man world cup squad as well as the reserves , we have players like meth,duffin ,marillier, maruma,moor , jarvis , chitara, mutizwa, ect still in our first class systems alll of these people one day or if not now are good enough to play international level it might not be odi it could be test cricket but things are improving day by day. i have to aggree with sloan with marillier , he needs to be in our test plans , the guy barely fails if we had someone like that in our top 4 at test level that we can rely on would be brilliant
