6th consecutive single digit score for Shanto. Bangladesh now 6-2.

So many freakishly bad dismissals in one tournament for both Shanto and Bangladesh.

Now that Afghanistan have 6 points there is no way they are finishing 9th Or 10th with 6 points. Netherlands, if they beat Afghanistan they will also go up to 6, but if they lose they may well find themselves outside of Top 8.

Bangladesh are almost certain to finish outside of Top 8. I can't see them pulling off anything more than 1 win.

England are in serious danger of missing out from the CT.
Might even be Sri Lanka who miss out
Interesting point that, they still only have 4 points and have remaining games against India, NZ and Bangladesh. Bang v SL could be the one that decides.

Bangladesh have Pakistan and Sri Lanka...excellent chance to pick up two wins before getting smashed by Australia.

AFG are in the CT already. Netherlands could make it if they upset Afghanistan or England. Afghans are still due a shocking collapse like they had vs Bangladesh...they've been batting too well.

Bangladesh can't possibly do worse than they have (or can they?)...they really need to win a couple to make it to the CT. Batting first vs Pakistan looks to be a good decision.
Pakistan generally do well against Bangladesh. I also can't see Pakistan losing 5 in a row and they still have a chance of making the Semis... So they may be extra motivated for this one.

SL's run rate is very good. Bangladesh best bet is to sneak past NED assuming that England continue to lose games.

Liton Das gets out to the 20th inexplicable dismissal by a Bangladesh top order batter.

This Bangladesh side are actually a much better team than what they've showed here. I'd say they are better than both Afghanistan and Sri Lanka...they've just had a massive brain fade for last 3 weeks.

Playing on poor pitches in Bangladesh has come back to haunt them. Batsman unable to play any sort of bounce . Biggest dissappointment for me is Mushfiqur this WC i rate him the most in this side and he has failed miserably

Yes but the core batters (Shakib, Mushfiq, Mahmudullah) all scored runs at World Cups in Australia and England where the bounce was higher than in India.

Pakistan stay alive, if RSA beat NZ tomorrow then we are in for a very interesting clash between Pak and NZ.

As for Bangladesh, I don't see any problem in them preparing turning tracks for games at home. If that is their strength and is helping them win then so be it. We (India) have been preparing dust bowls in test matches for a decade now and it is helping us , we are unbeatable at home. I don't see any problem with that.

The ugly spat between Tamim and Shakib didn't help Bangladesh's cause. It was quite clear that Shakib was on the wrong there and when you do such things, generally it creates a very bad environment for the team.

Yeah there is no mental clarity of mind in the BD team at the moment. Beat Afghanistan by a lucky fluke otherwise they’d be winless.

Now this was a team that beat a full strength SA in South Africa 18 months ago. QDK, Rassie, Bavuma, Rabada, Jansen, Ngidi were all present. How does that team fail to win a game in Asian conditions? Can only be explained by complete mental breakdown caused mostly by Shakib’s disastrous mentality. Can’t score runs, can’t lead, creates drama, and has his wife fight his battles for him on Twitter/Facebook.
