[Match Thread] 4th ODI: Afghanistan v Zimbabwe
Re: [Match Thread] 4th ODI: Afghanistan v Zimbabwe
Wow we are doomed.. and we have 3 pace bowlers on a spinning track
Re: [Match Thread] 4th ODI: Afghanistan v Zimbabwe
Another day another shitty performance
Re: [Match Thread] 4th ODI: Afghanistan v Zimbabwe
Giving wickets to an average bowler like Mujeeb at the start of the innings is criminal...Seriously

Oh yes! Ervine's back in form! But everybody else is off...

Re: [Match Thread] 4th ODI: Afghanistan v Zimbabwe
Are there any Afghan fast bowlers other than Dawlat, Shapoor and Hamid who are genuinely quick? Hamid is injured I guess and Shapoor Zadran hasn't been in good form of late. Izatullah Dawlatzai was quick as well but totally disappeared off the scene a few years ago.afghankhan wrote: ↑Fri Feb 16, 2018 11:36 amWe should play with two proper fast bowlers. Poor guy always opens the bowling to do the hard job.
When you play 4 spinners you need to open with a spinner

Can someone tell me what the deal with these Afghanis are In relation to cricket ?
Are they Pakistani’s living in the Ghan?
Afghanis in Pakistan ?
Minority of some sort?
Or is cricket now legit mainstream ??
I ask because a lot of the team look Pakistani. Afghans generally have a lighter look to them with a squarer face and often green eyes

There are no genuine fast bowlers as far as I know, but some good prospects. They need to encourage and produce more fast bowlers.
There has been quite a few guys like Fareed Malik, Naveen Ul Haq, Ibrahim Sharifi, Sayed Sherzad, Wafadar Momand etc. but none really given a chance.
